Welcome to Day 1!
The driver will be waiting at the airport to convey you to Nyungwe Forest National Park Lodge where you accommodation has been reserved. A location very close to the Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will also get to meet with your tour guide later in the night for some update and a welcome dinner. You will lodge overnight at the Nyungwe Forest Lodge.
- Day2: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park& Explore Cultural museums and King palace
Immediately after breakfast early in the morning, the tour guide will be available to convey you from the lodge to Nyungwe forest. You will get to enjoy the rich experience of that the tour guide has about Nyungwe wildlife. They will provide full details on all you need to know about the lifestyle of the primates on how they feed, reproduce and care for one another. The tour will also enable you to explore the cultural museum and King’s palace
Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park is usually scheduled to take place throughout the year. However, we have observed over the years that the best time for chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park is during the rainy/wet season.
The reason is because during this time, food availability is quite much in the forest, so the movements of chimps are quite limited. During the dry season, the chimps go deep in the vast forest in search of fruits hence making it more difficult to track them. The dry season is ideal for those who are interested in the canopy and nature walks.
- Day3: Transfer back and Departure
Time can really run so fast when you’re having fun. It’s Day 3 already and we are driving back to Kigali which happens to be one of the most perfect ambiences for vacation and it’s a home of hospitality for several tourists.
It is a strategic location at the very centre of the country, making it very ideal to start and end a tour in Rwanda.
Upon arriving at Kigali, you are at liberty to explore some other locations for shopping and sightseeing before departing for the airport which depends on the time of your flight
