The 7 Days Rwanda Gorilla Wildlife adventure will allow every tourist to view the wildlife primates tracking in Rwanda. Tourist will have the opportunity to experience the chimpanzee trekking/canopy walk in Nyungwe forest and several other sides attractions.
Tour Highlights
- Day 1: Arrive in Rwanda (Kigali International Airport) & transfer to Akagera National Park
- Day 2: Full game drive / wild game viewing in the morning and Lake Ihema boat cruise in the afternoon
- Day 3: Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park National Park. Tour the Ethnographic Museum and the King’s Palace in Butare and Nyanza respectively
- Day 4: undertake morning chimpanzee trekking and Nyungwe canopy walk in the afternoon
- Day 5: Undertake a whole day drive to Volcanoes National Park-The Rwanda’s gorilla trekking shelter
- Day 6: Undertake gorilla trekking experience & afternoon exploration to Musanze caves
- Day 7: Transfer to Kigali City and Depart
Detailed itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive in Rwanda (Kigali International Airport) & transfer to Akagera National Park
The driver will be on ground to pick you at the airport and then embark on a 2-hour drive to Akagera National Park near the border with Tanzania. There are beautiful sceneries you shall be exposed to along the way, we shall then check-in at Akagera Game Lodge and have a rest. After Lunch in the Afternoon, you will go for one of Africa’s most wonderful game drives in Akagera national park.
Return for dinner and overnight at AkageraGame Lodge.
- Day 2: Full game drive / wild game viewing in the morning and Lake Ihema boat cruise in the afternoon
Shortly after breakfast in the morning, the driver will be available to take you on an amazing tour for the game drive which will give you the opportunity to catch a glimpse of some of the predators.
There is probability of seeing some elephants, lions and giraffes, to mention a few. Later in the afternoon, you will proceed for a fascinating boat cruise experience this will continue till later in the evening and then return for dinner
- Day 3: Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park National Park. Tour the Ethnographic Museum and the King’s Palace in Butare and Nyanza respectively
After breakfast in the morning, our dedicated driver/guide will be available to take you to the Nyungwe Forest National Park, which happens to be the largest forest in East and Central Africa. The tour will also cover the Ethnographic museum and the King’s palace in Butare and Nyanza respectively.
- Day 4: undertake morning chimpanzee trekking and Nyungwe canopy walk in the afternoon
In the morning, shortly after breakfast, you will proceed for the Chimpanzee trekking. Along the way, you will get to meet different species of monkeys and birds. This will also follow with the fascinating forest Canopy walk later in the afternoon.
- Day 5: Undertake a whole day drive to Volcanoes National Park-The Rwanda’s gorilla trekking shelter
- Day 6: Undertake gorilla trekking experience & afternoon exploration to Musanze caves
- Day 7: Transfer to Kigali City and Depart
