Detailed itinerary
- Day 1: A trip to Bwindi
The driver will be available to pick you up at the hotel after breakfast and commence the journey to the National Park in Bwindi. You will stop over for lunch in Mbarara town. The journey will continue subsequently, and you will get to see the fascinating view referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa”. Overnight and Dinner is scheduled for Gorilla Safari Lodge.
- Day 2: Gorilla tracking
After the early morning breakfast, you will proceed on a short meeting with the forest rangers to get the required guidelines for interacting with the gorillas. Afterwards, you will be led by the guide and proceed on a memorable adventure in the forest. This may extend for a duration of 8hours which depends on the pace of movement. Cultural walk is scheduled for the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will take place at Gorilla Safari Lodge
- Day 3: Back to Kigali
After breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kigali. There will be a stopover for lunch and subsequently conveyed to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
